Outliner iPad. Plan iPad and Mac. iPad attachments and sync. Focus and outliner Mac.
This puts us 4 years into a development cycle to overhaul ui but only halfway to updating the ui on their most generally useful apps. It makes sense to refine the new ui in plan, their most complex app. But yes, the wait is getting very tedious.

Re: Omni frustrates me

On OF, my experience matches yours exactly. Expensive Mac client, lousy experience, blank lines added by mistake, etc. And I've never figured out how to view what I wanted without fiddling for a long time. Great (and affordable) iPad client, and pretty good iPhone client. The lack of development on the Mac is a little odd, as adding tasks and seeing the big picture are both a lot easier on a multi-window, multi-tasking system. One would think the company would want to have tight integration between the Mac and iOS versions; not just great syncing, which they have, but an easy way of manipulating data on the desktop in order to view it on the go on the iOS versions. Let's hope they haven't forgotten about the Mac.

Re: Ilfosol and shutter speed: a note on new interests

I have recently ended up buying an Olympus XA2, which should be arriving tomorrow, and may get an XA as well. The issue there is of course that you have to get a Travelers Notebook as well. But the paper is excellent and very thin.
With a ballpoint your options do open up a it it - for instance, you can look at Moleskines, which have quite thin paper and are well constructed even if they don't like fountain pens much.

Re: The Allan’s Journal – pocket notebook par excellence

Thank you so much for your attention to detail in your notebook reviews. Not that I think you are a walking notebook advertisement, but have you any product suggestions for someone who prioritizes thin pages and would like to spend less than the $40 Allan's Journal costs? On the other hand, I find Poussiere de Lune quite well behaved too, so we may be using different paper.
As a note, after having used it for a while, it's even less purple than I'd thought. In good light you can see hints of purple - in poor or mediocre light it just looks black. I had trouble distinguishing it from black a lot of the time. It's purple in the same way as Noodlers Zhivago is green - i.e. you would not notice it casually. I find that quite a nice effect though.

Re: Two very dark Diamine inks – Eclipse and Denim

I really like the look of Eclipse - any thoughts on its feathering on different paper?

I love Pousserie de Lune, but its tendency to go bonkers on all but the very finest paper drives me mad. I guess i should also ask whether I can justify Eclipse in addition to Imperial Purple, Pousserie de Lune & Amazing Amethyst, but that's a discussion for another time, perhaps :)

Re: SNYS v0.41

That just means it was unable to contact the Simplenote server during a sync - sometimes connection errors do happen, and you can ignore it, unless it happens every time.

Re: SNYS v0.41

It is sort of on the list of things to do, but I don't have any particular plans for actually doing it at the moment.

Re: SNYS v0.41

I get the message:

curl: (28) Connection time-out
Please help

Martin

Re: SNYS v0.41

Any thoughts or progress on adding tag syncing between Simplenote & Yojimbo?
